How are your bulk creation, deletion or modifided users and forlders being processed out with Gestión en masa?
By way of the permissions you granted for Gestión en masa during installation, Gestión en masa uses Drive, sheets and Admin SDK API to access your Admin console and send bulk users created or delete or edited from there, on your behalf. To achieve this, Gestión en masa performs the following steps:
Gestión en masa uses the spreadsheets as a draft, to establish the user data and from then on under the necessary checks, executes and sends these changes to the administration console using the Admin SDK API.
Likewise, with the drive folders that we want to create, we use the spreadsheets as a draft for the requested parameters and information and then the user execute the bulk creation.
With your granting the specific permission to «Create Users», Gestión en masa only uses your Google account (admin or super administrator) to send the specific instruction to Admin SDK or DRIVE (i.e. «Create, delete or modify users and or folders in the user drive.»). Technically, it is the user who sends this request and thus it is registered in the administration console.
In other words, Gestión en masa just pulls data from your Google Spreadsheet and transfers it to the Google Admin console, and Drive servers on your behalf to execute those actions.
Contrary to many other apps that maange users, we don’t have any IPD server or any Users Data stored by ourselves.
So when you use Gestión en masa, all instructions and executions of each action are done through Google servers, and not with any other external services.
Those actions include:
Accessing data from your spreadsheet
Importing Users data from Admin console and worte on Spreadsheet.
Importin XLS o CSV files information and put in on the Draft on the spreadsheet.
Update users info on admin console
Create users
Delete Users
SupendUsers
Adding users to groups
Modify the roles in the group that user belong
Delete user form groups.
Create folders and share them with the emails you serve on the spreadsheet.
What happens to my data and my spreasheet file after an acction is completed?
After an acction is completed your draft is in place and is not updated, you will recive notifications throw popup windows with the changes maded.
We don’t store any data from your actions, only API usage, and we don’t store user information, so we don’t know who is using the app. In case of errors we can see that an error occurred and know which piece of code gave that error but we do not know the client to whom it occurred or their data. This is important to control where the tool most commonly has errors due to user use or due to any updates to the APIs.
